Saturday the 3rd of March Craig insists we go for dinner.
Goat hooves down and horns ready, this little Capricorn had other plans - bed after a particularly busy weekend.
With his coaxing ways Craig's plea got the best of me and off we went to Monte's Verdiccio restaurant - a slice of Italian paradise. For those who don't already know, Verdiccio's is a quaint little restaurant between the casino and Sins, the novelty store. From all the hundreds of times I had walked past I had never, ever imagined that a hidden underground cellar lay within the depths of this exquisite venue.
After dinner Craig tricked me into believing we were going to be driven home via taxi, he had fed me lots of shooters - very unlike us - and I was convinced he was being serious as we always use the services of a toot and scoot type taxi service. Craig had other tricks up his sleeve, a nights stay at the Pivot Hotel !!
Off we went up to our 'superior room' where my poor man (after all the effort) finally succumbed to the migraine he had been fighting all evening. Our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the deck below and the Italian style decor in the distance. I'm sure you'll agree by the pics that I was overwhelmed with joy. No judgement.
What a treat! Nothing like I have ever experienced, thank you so much my special Craig for spoiling me!! I love you madly and I'm so grateful for the romantic surprise.
