Today's happy memory is in honour of Mr Mark Duffield. Being first on my Facebook page this morning he gets a whole blog post to himself on Tan's Slice of Life.
Mark is married to Genevieve and they have 2 little boys (one of which just entered the world a few months ago). Gen and I worked together a few years back and my best memories of Mark are of him being a pillar of strength and a reliable shoulder to lean on whenever his friends or family need him.
While I don't have one specific memory of Mark to blog about, he can be described as a DVD collecting, humourous, loving father and instigator of unwanted pregnancies. The unwanted pregnancies would be mine. He is always teasing Craig and I endlessly about having children and manages to get us in a tizzy about it too.
He's that soft hearted tease you just want to see at a braai with a super mischieveous streak. He's the kind of guy you would want to have as your MC, while he's mostly about the jokes, when this guy gets serious he is very deep!
So thanks Mark, keep shining and smiling. Your light is seen by all you know you and we love you for it.
